This programme has been designed with Starlings 5x5 for American Football players in mind. It is the most efficient 3 day per week programme you could do, whilst still keeping high levels of energy stored for your skill based BJJ training. It is incredibly important to not overtrain in the gym whilst training Jiu Jitsu, as this can lead to a dip in performance due to unnecessary fatigue. This programme aims to keep your workout intensity high, and build strong, mobile, hybrid muscle, without draining you to the point where you struggle to concentrate in classes, or begin to feel overtrained.
